Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1.     Eligibility and Sponsors: These rules constitute the official rules (Official Rules) of the drawing as described below. The drawing is open to individuals who are legal residents of one of the fifty (50) states of the United States or the District of Columbia, who have reached the age of majority and reside in their declared state of residence as of the date of entry for the drawing. Persons who are immediate family members (parents, children, spouse, siblings) of, or live in the same household as, employees or directors, or are themselves employees or directors, of Living Zero Home Tours (“LZHT”), its Sponsors, as defined below, affiliated companies, advertising or promotion agencies are prohibited from participation in the drawing. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and all final decisions made by LZHT, related to the drawing. Sponsors shall be considered to be those entities identified as primary and associate sponsors at the WWW.LIVINGZERO.ORG website and who shall jointly and severably be considered, for purposes of this agreement, to be the sponsors (Sponsors) of the LZHT.

2.     Timing:The drawing commences on July 1, 2009, and concludes on November 30, 2009. There will be up to seventeen (17) separate LZHT sponsor events (Sponsor Events) taking place during the aforementioned time period. Specific locations and times for each event will be posted on the LZHT website; WWW.LIVINGZERO.ORG.

3.     To Enter: No purchase necessary. Eligible participants must submit a Living Zero Home Tour prize drawing official entry form which is only available at one of the Sponsor Event locations (Entry Form). The completed Entry Form will only be accepted if it is turned-in at one of the Sponsor Events. Entry Forms mailed or delivered by means other than physically turning them in at the Sponsor Event locations, will not be accepted. ONLY ONE ENTRY FORM PER PERSON WILL BE PERMITTED. Submission of more than one Entry Form from the same person is prohibited. Non-compliance with any entry procedure will result in disqualification.

4.     Drawing and Prizes: One (1) potential winner will be selected from EACH of the up to seventeen (17) Sponsor Events. A potential winner will be selected from each of the up to 17 Sponsor Events in a random drawing held on or about December 15, 2009, from among all eligible entries received at each the Sponsor Events. Potential winners do not need to be present to win. Provided a potential winner provides the Required Documents, as defined below, then that winner will receive one (1) of the following prizes, as selected for that winner by PRISM:

(1)     42 inch Insignia flat screen LCD Energy Star rated television

(2)     General Electric EnergyStar rated refrigerator

(3)     General Electric Profile Energy Star rated dishwasher

Selection of potential winners will be made by random drawings under the supervision of PRISM Business Services, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. For a copy of the Winners List, which consist of each person who was selected as a potential winner of one of the aforementioned prizes, send a self-addressed envelope, within thirty (30) days of the date of the drawing, to Living Zero Home Tour, PRISM Business Services, Inc.,1039 Kenleigh Circle, Suite 150, Winston-Salem NC 27106-5606. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of Winner’sList.

5.     Notification: Potential winners will be notified via e-mail, certified mail and/or telephone and will be required to return a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release, which will be provided by LZHT in order to claim the prize (Required Documentation). If prize notifications are returned as undeliverable, or if potential winners do not respond with Required Documentation within thirty (30) days from prize notification date, potential winners will be disqualified and alternate winners, selected by PRISM will be made from among the remaining eligible entries. Prizes will be delivered to the address provided on the Entry Forms within sixty (60) days from receipt of all Required Documentation from winners. All applicable taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner agrees to indemnify LZHT and its Event Sponsors for any and all claims, judgments or settlements of such taxes, fees or surcharges arising from the awarding of the prize(s). There is a limit of one prize per household address for the drawing of prizes. No cash in lieu of prize or substitution of prizes except in LZHT’s sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable. Returned prizes will not be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6.     Other Considerations: By accepting a prize, potential winners are required to indicate by written document, as to whether the potential winner will authorize the Sponsor(s), and those acting under it’s authority, may use winner’s name and hometown, and related demographic information, for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to advertising and promotional purposes in any forum, whatsoever, without limitation and without further consideration to the winner, unless prohibited by law. BY PARTICIPATING, WINNER AGREES THAT LZHT, ITS SPONSORS, ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY WINNER FOR ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND TO PROPERTY OR PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM PARTICIPATION IN THIS DRAWING OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISS USE OF A PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY PRIZE RELATED ACTIVITY. Drawings are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in all jurisdictions where prohibited by law.

7.     Internet Viewing: The drawing is intended for viewing and participation only in the United States and shall only be construed and evaluated according to U.S. law. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, LZHT OR THE SPONSORS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8.     Miscellaneous: All entries, and all information contained on the Entry Form will be property of LZHT, and its Event Sponsors, and will not be returned to entrants.. LZHT. For those winners who provide written authorization, the LZHT reserves the right to provide to its Event Sponsors, subsidiaries, affiliates and other organizations, information provided on any Entry Forms without additional compensation to entrants or restrictions, unless prohibited by law. LZHT and its Event Sponsors reserves the right at their sole discretion to modify, terminate or suspend all or any portion of this drawing should non-authorized human intervention, fraud, printing errors, internet viruses, hackers or other causes beyond the control of LZHT corrupt or impair administration, security, fairness or proper operation of this drawing. LZHT and its Sponsors assume no responsibility for lost, late or illegible Entry Forms.

PLEASE REVIEW THE WWW.LIVINGZERO.ORG WEBSITE BEFORE PROCEEDING. COPIES OF THE DRAWING RULES WILL ALSO BE DISPLAYED AT EACH OF THE SPONSOR EVENTS.
